Rebecca Butterfield, M.D., Joins Children's Hospital Staff
ALBANY, N.Y., October 17, 2007 - Rebecca C. Butterfield, M.D., a general pediatrician and adolescent primary care physician, has joined the staff of the Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center and has been appointed assistant professor of pediatrics at Albany Medical College. Dr. Butterfield will be seeing patients at the Albany Medical Center Pediatric Group located at 1 Clara Barton Drive in Albany.
Dr. Butterfield received her undergraduate degree from Union College and is an Albany Medical College alumna. Following an internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of Rochester, Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong in Rochester, NY, she served as a staff pediatrician at Dover Pediatrics in Dover, New Hampshire.
Dr. Butterfield has a special interest in treating newborn babies and patients with asthma. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
