Maura Mack Hisgen to Lead the Alumni Association at Albany Medical College
ALBANY, N.Y., September 25, 2009—Albany Medical College’s Alumni Association has appointed Maura Mack Hisgen executive director of its Alumni Association. Working in cooperation with the Albany Medical College and the Albany Medical Center Foundation, she is responsible for the overall management and operation of alumni relations at the Medical College.
Mack Hisgen previously served as associate director of alumni engagement in the Alumni Relations Office at Harvard Business School, where she also served as assistant director of centennial planning, coordinator, and staff assistant. Prior to that, she was a program assistant for the New York Public Welfare Association. She received a bachelor of arts in English from Siena College.
“We are confident that given the scope of her experience in alumni relations, Maura will fulfill Albany Med’s Alumni Association’s commitment to providing continued support to the College, its students, alumni, and the greater Albany Medical Center community,” said Chris Campese, M.D., class of ‘90 and president of the Albany Medical College Alumni Association Board of Directors. “Maura’s role as liaison between the Medical College, the Alumni Board, our alumni and the Albany Medical Center Foundation will be invaluable in supporting each constituent’s role in the College’s future growth and prosperity.”
