Dr. Brutus treats benign and malignant tumors of the breast and specializes in skin and nipple sparing mastectomies and caring for high-risk patients, including those who have family history of breast cancer, have been diagnosed under the age of 50 or have a known gene mutation.

Dr. Brutus received her fellowship training in breast surgery from Northwestern University in Chicago and completed her surgical residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York City. While completing her residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center, Dr. Brutus participated in medical relief missions to the Dominican Republic and Haiti with the Overseas Medical Assistance Team (OMAT), a non-profit organization that provides assistance to vulnerable and at-risk populations in developing countries.

Dr. Brutus is currently seeing new patients at Albany Medical Center’s South Clinical Campus on Hackett Blvd in Albany and, beginning in October, will be seeing patients at the Malta Medical Park located at 2388 Route 9 in Mechanicville.
