Expert Plastic Surgeon Kristen Rezak, M.D., Joins Albany Medical Center
ALBANY, N.Y., August 14, 2013 – Kristen Rezak, M.D. has joined Albany Medical Center’s Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and has been appointed assistant professor of plastic and reconstructive surgery at Albany Medical College.
Double board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and American Board of Surgery, Dr. Rezak completed fellowships in Post- Bariatric Body Contouring Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center through Harvard Medical School and a fellowship in microvascular reconstructive surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center’s School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, PA. She concluded her training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston, Florida.
With extensive training in both reconstructive and cosmetic procedures, Dr. Rezak performs all types of plastic surgery, and has a special interest in aesthetic surgery and microsurgical free flap breast reconstruction following breast cancer. She offers a wide range of procedures including breast reconstruction and body contouring surgery after massive weight loss, liposuction, facial and breast cosmetic surgery, fat grafting, Botox and filler injections.
Dr. Rezak is a candidate member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgeons and the Association of Women Surgeons.
