Tabitha Kane, M.D., Joins Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology
ALBANY, N.Y., January 12, 2010—Obstetrician and gynecologist Tabitha Kane, M.D., has joined the Women’s Wellness Center of Albany Medical Center and been appointed assistant professor in the department of obstetrics and gynecology at Albany Medical College.
Dr. Kane completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Albany Medical Center Hospital, and interned in internal medicine at the University of Utah, where she also received her medical degree. She received a bachelor’s in health sciences from Boise State University.
Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Kane will treat all general obstetrical and gynecological patients, from pediatric gynecology to menopause. She has a special interest in high risk obstetrics and gynecology, sexual dysfunction, and all aspects of family planning. She is currently principal investigator in a study to determine whether delivery via cesarean benefits premature infants.
