Dancing in the WoodsPlease click here to watch the 2013 Dancing in the Woods video.

Thanks to our sponsors as well as those in attendance, the 30th anniversary celebration of Dancing in the Woods was a huge success. The annual gala at the Armory at Sage in Albany raised more than $500,000 to benefit the Melodies Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders. Together, we celebrated 30 years of generosity and 30 years of supporting brighter tomorrows for the hundreds of children who are treated at the Melodies Center each year. Much has changed over the years, but the effort of the community on behalf of the children of Albany Medical Center has not. An evening of enjoyment at Dancing in the Woods has ensured that those who need the Melodies Center today can continue to count on it for a brighter tomorrow.

The talents of the Empire State Youth Orchestra and Chorale and many other performers come together each year at Proctors Theatre for four spectacular performances to benefit the Melodies Center for Childhood Cancer & Blood Disorders at the Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center. The event was once again highlighted by the Melodies Singers, each a Melodies Center patient, presenting a heart-warming rendition of Silent Night.

Date:  See you in December
