Children's Hospital Radiothon

Thank you for your support during the 17th annual AM 810 and 103.1 FM News Talk WGY and 99.5 The River Cares for Kids Radiothon. The Capital Region community turned out for our youngest patients by donating $245,136 to benefit the Bernard & Millie Duker Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center, the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital

Lead sponsors of the Radiothon were Keeler Motor Car Company, Price Chopper Supermarkets and Freihofer’s Baking Company. More than 120 volunteers took pledges from callers during the 25-hour event.  Every dollar raised allows the children’s hospital to purchase new equipment and support programs and services.

See you next year for the 18th annual Radiothon!

Light up the Night

Hannah Lowe, age 16, was successfully treated in Albany Med’s Emergency Department after being struck by a car in 2014.

Light Up the Night, the premier gala of the summer, raised $269,460 for Albany Medical Center’s Department of Emergency Medicine, the region’s only state-designated Level 1 trauma center.

More than 400 guests attended the annual gala held July 10, 2015 at Saratoga National Golf Club. MVP Health Care was the title sponsor of the event for the ninth consecutive year.

“We are honored that so many people chose to give back to our emergency department, as we continuously work to respond to the growing health care needs of the Capital Region,” said Christopher King, MD, chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Albany Medical Center. “Their support ensures that we can deliver expert care close to home to those who rely on us at a moment’s notice.”

Please join us in July 2016!

Children's Hospital Golf Tournament

Morning and afternoon shot-gun tee times are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The 24th annual Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital Golf Tournament will be held at the beautiful Schuyler Meadows Club, one of the area’s premier private golf courses and home of the 2014 U.S. Open Qualifier. Golfers will enjoy a day featuring exclusive on and off-course hospitality, gifts and a barbeque lunch on the club veranda. After a day of golf, participants will be treated to an after-party featuring cocktails and hors d'oeuvres by a bon fire, followed by a New England-style lobster bake.

Funds raised by the tournament allow the Bernard & Millie Duker Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center to continue to provide the most advanced care for the children and families of our region.

There are several sponsorship levels that include player and non-player opportunities!
