2013 Community Events
Albany Medical Center welcomes – and appreciates -- the efforts of organizations, groups and individuals wishing to provide philanthropic support for Albany Medical Center through special fundraising events in the community.
Albany Medical Center includes Albany Medical Center Hospital (including the Children’s Hospital), Albany Medical College, Albany Medical Center South Clinical Campus and the Albany Medical Center Foundation, which supports Albany Medical Center’s mission of providing excellence in medical education, biomedical research and patient care through philanthropy.

What the Albany Med Foundation can provide for your event:
- All events held to benefit Albany Medical Center must be approved in advance by the Albany Medical Center Foundation. A complete version of our policy is located here; an event application form is here.
- A letter of confirmation on our knowledge and approval of the event.
- Advice or expertise on events via initial meeting and/or telephone (we are, however, unable to conduct or attend ongoing committee/organizational meetings).
- Generic printed materials, if available, such as Albany Medical Center fact brochure, child cancer and general Children's Hospital literature.
- Children's Hospital balloons and banners.
- Gift processing and receipts to individual/corporate donors who send donations (checks or credits cards) directly to the Albany Medical Center Foundation. Checks must be made out to the Albany Medical Center Foundation.
