Taught by certified pilates instructors, Kay Fuller and Megan Haley. All levels welcome to this revitalizing, challenging workout. The Powerhouse, or center of the body, initiates almost all of the movements to work the deep core muscles. Participants experience a change in body shape and posture because of the elongation and strengthening of muscles as they integrate the proper breathing techniques. Increased flexibility and proper body alignment improve the neuromuscular patterns and body mechanics to make your body work more efficiently and be less prone to injury whether you are a long distance runner or just doing daily chores.
