Better Doctoring

FAQ

Q: How long  does the seminar or course last?
A: Fifteen days. Classes begin and end on a Friday.

Q: What is the cost?
A: $2,500 (subject to change).

Q: Are course materials provided?
A: Yes. All course materials are available online.

Q: What is the attendance policy?
A: Each module can be completed at the convenience of the participant--at any hour of the day--but each module must be completed within the stated due dates. Each day begins at midnight Eastern time. Recall that physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity up to a maximum of 25 hours.

Q: What happens if a participant fails to complete a module by the stated due date?
A: The participant will not be able to proceed to the next module unless the previous module is completed satisfactorily. If a participant fails to complete any module, they will not successfully complete the course and no CME credit will be awarded. No participant may receive partial credit for the course. With extenuating circumstances--such as an emergency or illness--a participant may withdraw from the course and re-register to participate in the next course offered. There are no refunds available once a participant begins a course.

Q: Some state boards require a longitudinal follow up report or reports about 6 to 12 months after completing the online course. Is this an option with Better Doctoring?
A: Yes. Individual arrangements can be made for the provision of scheduled internal reports in advance for an additional professional services fee.
