Accreditation
The Plastic Surgery Residency is approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education for one educational model. Our Integrated Model program offers one resident per year entrance into plastic surgery training directly following graduation from medical school. Currently, three such trainees are in their general surgery prerequisite rotational phase and three are on the requisite plastic surgery phase. Fourth-year medical students may elect - and residents from general surgery and otolaryngology are assigned to - rotations in plastic surgery.
The plastic surgery residency program participates in the National Residency Matching Program each March. Interviews are typically held the preceding December or January.
