Application Information
Positions
Positions are usually filled at the PGY-1 level through the Match. We take two physicians per year. Residents selected through the Match spend the first year in the Department of Medicine at Albany Medical Center and enter training in PM&R in July of the following year. Because positions are filled at the PGY-1 level, PGY-2 openings occur only if a resident leaves the program or if an additional position becomes available.
Applications
All applications are through ERAS. It is preferred that candidates have Board scores of 80 or better. International medical graduates must have J1 visas or be permanent residents.
