Teaching Activities
Pathology residents take an active role in medical student education at Albany Medical College. Interested residents also teach classes in the Department's School of Cytotechnology and the Medical Center's Physician Assistant Program.

Research Opportunities
Pathology residents are encouraged to become involved in clinically oriented research projects during their training. Numerous published articles and abstracts have resulted from these efforts. Albany Medical Center pathology residents are regularly chosen to deliver poster and platform presentations at national professional meetings in the areas of surgical pathology, molecular pathology, cytopathology, and clinical pathology.
