Our Residents

PGY-1

Aditi Kanth, MD
Stony Brook University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine

I grew up in Long Island, NY where I eventually completed my medical school. The aspects of plastic surgery which first drew me into this field are primarily microsurgery and breast reconstruction. In my spare time, I enjoy running, drawing, reading a good book, and catching up with friends and family.

PGY-2

Paschalia Mountziaris, MD

I grew up in Buffalo, NY and attended Princeton University, where I majored in Chemical Engineering with minors in Bioengineering and French Literature.  I then moved to Houston, TX for 8 years where I completed the Medical Scientist Training (MD/PhD) Program at Baylor College of Medicine and Rice University. While in graduate school, I spent much of my time off shadowing the plastic surgeons at MD Anderson Cancer Center.  I continue to be interested in pursuing reconstructive surgery after graduation.

I am originally from Rochester, NY and attended SUNY Geneseo for undergraduate college. I plan to apply for a fellowship following residency, but I am still exploring which focus to pursue.

I am a Bulgarian citizen and an ethnic Turk.  I first came to the US 13 years ago.  I completed my college and medical school education in Richmond, VA.  I enjoy long distance running and spending time with my dog Poofy in my free time.  I love all aspects of plastic surgery and hope to have a diverse practice in the future.

I am originally from Houston, TX. During my senior year at the University of Texas at Austin, I visited Guatemala with HELPS International. This was my first exposure to plastic surgery and I was instantly hooked. Since then, I have particularly enjoyed complex facial reconstruction, breast reconstruction and hand surgery. I plan on seeking additional training in aesthetic surgery before returning to Texas where I will join a small practice.

I am originally from Arcadia, CA. When I graduate next year on 2015, I will start my aesthetic fellowship in Atlanta, GA with Dr. Mark Codner. My hobbies include fishing and writing professional reviews for a leather products review website.
