Conference Schedule


The Thursday didactic conference is the core element of the program's didactic education schedule, which
is designed to cover all topics in clinical plastic surgery and the basic sciences that underlie it on a two-year cycle. A faculty or visiting lecturer presents the subject matter, and then guides an interactive discussion with residents.

Time allotments are flexible to allow detailed and complete discussion of topics. Attendance of all Integrated and Independent model residents from PGY-1 to 6 is mandatory, and conference time is protected from clinical or other duties, with any urgent clinical issues being the responsibility of individual attending surgeons exclusively.
