Requirements & Eligibility


Application Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy
  • Letter of intent
  • Official university transcript
  • 3 letters of recommendation
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Short essay describing personal reasons for pursing residency

All residents must be eligible for licensure in the state of New York.

Application material must be submitted utilizing Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS) (http://www.ashp.org/phorcas). After the entire application package is reviewed, the residency advisory committee will arrange potential on-site interviews for selected candidates.  

Application deadline in January 15th.

 

New York State Office of the Professions

Application Deadline to sit for the NYS Part III licensing (compounding) exam is April 1st. This exam may be waived at the discretion of the residency director and competency will be incorporated into the first two months of the residency.
