Education and Curriculum

Med/Peds

Our Med/Peds program has its own specific curriculum.

  • Resident Education Day (REDD): REDD sessions occur on the second Wednesday afternoon of each block. During these sessions, our residents have protected time to participate in our Med/Peds specific ambulatory curriculum, journal clubs, board review, and sports medicine/musculoskeletal workshops.
  • Individualized Learning Plans (ILP): Throughout the course of Med/Peds residency, residents work with their academic advisor and the program director to develop an ILP. ILP's have been designed to incorporate board exam preparation and to foster a commitment to lifelong learning.
  • Quarterly Evidence Based Medicine chart reviews
  • Structure Clinical Observations
